I just planted a flower box of petunias when a severe thunderstorm with hail came across the Niagara River from Ontario. It occured as a dark, foreboding clouds swirlled in on the horizon.

I attended a birthday party for Bobby's brother's fiance. She is originally from West Virginia but lived most of her life in Cleveland.

My neighbor Pat who is eighty four. She lives half of the year in Florida. She has more energy than most people have her age. She is also an accomplished musician who plays the organ piano and flute. She also has taught these instruments. She is an organist as well but usually fills in when people are sick or on vacation. A wonderful friend!

The roses look better all the time. They provide a natural privacy barrier. It feels great to be home in the Falls.

Carefully I took a picture of the baby birds in nest number two this year. I feel proud that I helped nurture six robin lives.

Susan Boyle's Britain's Got Talent

Click the link above to hear Susan Boyle's initial audition for Britain's Got Talent! Stupendous!

A feline visitor whom I fed and then he disappeared. He was immediately friendly and rubbed against my legs numerous times! I do hope he has a home. Later on, as it was getting dark, I saw him sitting in the middle of the street. He appears to be a kitten still; probably no more than about 6 months old. I will keep an eye on him if he reappears. Our cat has a tag with our phone number, etc. I cannot imagine not having some way of retrieving him if he would get out. He is, however, a house-cat and is actually afraid of going out now.

Our upside down tomato plant fashioned from a three litre pop bottle. We will see how it turns out. There are some commercial ones on the market which cost close to $20. I just decided to fasion my own version.

Every year our roses come out in all their splendor. We had to make an impromptu trip back home to Niagara Falls as Bobby's mother was admitted to the hospital for heart related problems. The roses look so good because Bobby has tended to them for three years now. Tonight the weather is just perfect with a slight chill in the air.

Continuing on my journey to Niagara Falls I saw this sign for "body parts". Good thing I did not stop! I then wondered why this might be the ultimate place for transplant patients! :)

On the way to Niagara Falls we passed this car repair place. I hope the town is not homophobic!

My friend Bob seated in the ratio of an Irish restaurant. I had salmon and he had soup with wheaten bread. This was in Niagara On The Lake Ontario. We have known each other for about thirty years. Unfotunately, a dear friend of his committed suicide recently by taking pills and then calling him on the phone to take her last breath. The burden was on him to make the funeral arrangements as the husband was distraught and also, unfortunately, not very literate to handle any written documents. May God bless her troubled soul!

As it turned out the mother robin came back to our house to lay another batch of those beautiful bright blue eggs. If all goes well there will be three more robins added to the population.

This is historic Queen St in Niagara on the Lake Ontario in Canada. It is one of the most historic wine and architectural areas of Ontario.

The Prince George Theatre in Niagara on the Lake.

Saturday was spent in lovely Niagara on the lake Ontario. The air had a bit of a chill as Lake Ontario is still cold. The town was alive with so many people from all over. Many people come from Toronto. I went to a British store and picked up some oatmeal from Scotland. We lunched in an Irish restaurant.

before going back to pennsylvania I took this lovely picture of our hydrangia bush.

Daddy me tired!

My day was made brighter seeing a fellow coworker with her newly adopted daughter from Korea. The proud smile says it all.
