Today I decided to do all my remaining laundry by hand and hang it up like most of the world still does. It is such a basic human need and made me feel quite good that I did not have to rely on a machine. I used my Mexican bar of soap "Zote" and a washboard from Mexico. In about a half an hour, I finished a whole load and hung it up. Now I know how the Amish feel!

I will keep the convenience of my washing machine and dryer, thank you :-) Good for you, though, that you washed your laundry by hand.
